Detailed data
ABB 81EA04C-E 81EA04 GJR2393400R1210 Analog signal input module
This input module is used for current signal input with a signal range of 0..5mA, 0.20 mA, 4...20 mA or 0..50 mA, independent of the potential.
The processing part of the module is electrically isolated from the processing part as well as from the US, USB and Z potentials.
The input channels consist of high-resistance instrumentation amplifiers and are isolated from each other by an impedance of 400kΩ. All input current signals of different levels.
The module allows up to four independent correction or filtering calculations using structured function blocks.
For each function block, a correction variable and two auxiliary correction variables can be specified from the function unit or via the bus.
The corrected value is always output via the bus. In addition to the corrected value, analog signal limit value signals and status messages from the function block are also output to the bus system.
Features:
The module can be plugged into any station that belongs to the PROCONTROL bus system. It is equipped with a standard interface for the PROCONTROL station bus.
It transmits the converted input signal in the form of a telegram via the station bus to the PROCONTROL bus system. The telegram is monitored before sending and a parity bit is given. In this way, a check for a trouble-free transmission is ensured on the receiving end.
The telegrams received via the station bus are checked by the module according to their parity bits to ensure trouble-free transmission.
The individual functional units do not interfere with each other or with the processing part (station bus).
For each functional unit, one of four signal ranges can be selected: 0...20 mA, 4...20 mA, 0...5 mA or 0...50 mA.
The activation of the internal monitoring circuit or the input signal monitoring circuit is indicated on the front of the module as a disturbance alarm ST (general disturbance signal).
The activation of the internal monitoring circuit is also indicated as a disturbance alarm SG (block disturbance) on the front of the module.
