This module is used to connect the control module to the control room. It is used whenever a button command to or a light signal from the control module is transmitted via the bus.
The module contains four function units, each with three button inputs and three light outputs. Two function units can be connected to each other. This combination enables the module to communicate with a control module with four button inputs and four light outputs.
Button commands and light tests can be issued jointly for all function units via hardware inputs or individually for each function unit via the bus.
Each module output can be switched individually from light operation to LED operation by changing a plug-in jumper (see "Alarm Functions").
Features
The module can be plugged into any multipurpose processing station of the PROCONTROL bus system. It contains a standard interface to the PROCONTROL station bus.
The module checks the error-free transmission of telegrams received via the station bus based on the parity bit. The telegrams sent by the module to the station bus are assigned a parity bit to ensure error-free transmission.
For communication with the operator console, the module requires the following voltages:
US Operating voltage +24 V
Split internally into the power supply for
US12 pushbuttons of function units 1 and 2
US34 pushbuttons of function units 3 and 4
The operating voltage US and the lamp outputs are related to the reference conductor Z.
The operating voltage UD+ is related to the reference conductor ZD.
