GE IC693MDL740 DC Positive Logic Output Module
The 12/24 VDC Positive Logic 0.5 Amp Output Module for the 90-30 Series Programmable Logic Controllers provides 16 output points organized into two groups of 8 with a common power output terminal per group. This output module is designed with positive logic characteristics in that it supplies current to the load from the user common or positive power bus. The output device is connected between the negative power bus and the module output. The output characteristics are compatible with a variety of user supplied load devices such as: motor starters, solenoids, and indicators. Power to operate the field devices must be supplied by the user.
There are LED indicators on the top of the module to indicate the on/off status of each point. This LED block has two horizontal rows of LEDs, each with eight green LEDs, the upper row is labeled A1 to 8 (points 1 to 8) and the lower row is labeled B1 to 8 (points 9 to 16). There is an insert between the inner and outer surfaces of the hinged door. When the hinged door is closed, the surface inside the module has circuit wiring information and the outer surface can record circuit identification information. The left outer edge of the insert is coded blue to indicate a low voltage module. There are no fuses on this module.
This module can be installed in any I/O slot of a 5 or 10-slot baseplate in a Series 90-30 PLC system.
