Detailed data

GE IS220PPROS1B Emergency Turbine Protection I/O Pack

The IS220PPROS1B is a General Electric manufactured and designed emergency turbine protection I/O package that is mounted on individual Simplex Protection (SPRO) terminal boards to form a typical protection system. Each SPRO is connected to a designated emergency trip board via a cable with DC-37 pin connections at both ends. The turbine primary I/O package PTUR uses the primary trip board to provide primary protection. The PPRO I/O package operates the backup trip board to provide backup protection. The PPRO can handle three different types of speed signals including hardware implemented overspeed, acceleration, deceleration, and basic overspeed.
